Coaching Experience: 

Lindsey brings a wealth of experience in player development, having coached youth athletes across various competitive levels. She currently serves as a Goalkeeper coach for GYSC, providing technical instruction to our club's keepers. In addition to her work with youth soccer, she currently serves as the Head Coach for the Gettysburg College Women’s Rugby team.

Playing experience:

In college, Vandergrift was on the women’s soccer team at Bridgewater College in 2019-20. Lindsey Vandergrift was a standout goalkeeper at Delone Catholic High School. She helped lead the Squires to its first sectional title as a junior while helping the team to a 10-5-1 record as a senior. She posted a school-record 146 saves her junior year, and followed with 114 the next season. She was named First Team All-County and All-League as a junior, and First Team All-League her senior year. She was a four-year starter in goal for Delone, posting career and single-season records for wins, saves, shutouts and goals against. Vandergrift played club soccer for PA Classics, the Baltimore Bays, Baltimore Celtic among other teams.
