GYSC is currently seeking motivated players to join our U11 and U12 boys teams for the 2026 Spring season.
We are looking for players who are passionate about soccer, eager to improve, and ready to train in a competitive, player-centered environment focused on long-term development.
If your player is a U11 or U12 boy, we invite them to attend a training session with one of our teams to experience the GYSC environment and meet our coaches and players.

Professional Training Provided
A majority of our GYSC teams participate in the Central Pennsylvania Youth Soccer League (CPYSL). Playing in CPYSL includes 8 league games in both the fall and spring seasons. Teams are expected to travel to approximately 4 away games each season, typically within a 30–60 minute driving distance.
Our higher-level teams compete in the EDP League, which requires a year-round commitment with additional tournaments and training sessions. Participation in the EDP League also involves travel to games in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
During the soccer season, all GYSC teams practice twice a week with our professional trainers. In addition, all teams participate in The Blue & Gray Cup and the Battlefield Blast Tournament.
Register to Attend
All players are welcome to attend our GYSC Player Evaluations.
There is no cost to attend. During the evaluations you can expect the following:

All players are required to register prior to attending.

Players will be placed in the appropriate age groups.

Numbered pinnies will be assigned players.

Players are expected to wear shin guards and cleats. Players should bring a water bottle and soccer ball.

Only players and evaluators are allowed on the soccer fields during player evaluations.

Players will be evaluated by experienced and competent evaluators.

Players will be notified within 2 weeks of tryouts on team placement. Any players who decline their team invitation are expected to reply back within 48 hours of receiving their invitation.
Additional Training Offered
If your child is a goalkeeper, we offer goalkeeper training sessions once a week at no additional cost.
